We are currently expanding our exploration team at our site in North Musi Rawas (Musi Rawas Utara), South Sumatra. We are seeking driven, talented professionals to fill the following roles:
1. Junior Geologist
As a Junior Geologist, you will play a hands-on role in executing our exploration roadmap, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to operational standards.
* Job Description:
* Execute comprehensive exploration stages, including geological mapping, drilling operations, geophysical logging, coal sampling, and detailed reporting aligned with company targets.
* Accurately log and describe core samples retrieved from drilling activities.
* Interpret geophysical logging data to enhance subsurface understanding.
* Build, maintain, and update the primary drilling database.
* Collaborate seamlessly with the broader exploration team while strictly adhering to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Candidate Qualifications:
* Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrate strong technical mastery in coal geology mapping, drilling techniques, coal sample handling, database management, geophysical logging interpretation, and borehole correlation.
* Willing to be stationed at our operational site in North Musi Rawas, South Sumatra.
2. Exploration Geologist
For experienced professionals looking to take on greater leadership and technical responsibilities, our Exploration Geologist role offers the chance to spearhead critical resource modeling initiatives.
* Job Description:
* Plan, direct, and supervise end-to-end exploration campaigns covering geological mapping, drilling supervision, geophysical logging, sampling, and official reporting.
* Perform advanced interpretation and correlation of coal seams.
* Develop robust structural and stratigraphic coal geology models.
* Oversee the management, organization, and validation of comprehensive geological databases.
* Liaise effectively with internal exploration teams, support departments, and external third-party stakeholders.
* Guarantee that all exploration activities strictly comply with industry standards, internal protocols, and regulatory frameworks.
* Candidate Qualifications:
* Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Bring a minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience within the mining or exploration sector.
* Exhibit advanced proficiency in coal geology mapping, exploratory drilling oversight, technical reporting, geological modeling, and coal resource estimation.
* Hold a valid Mining Supervisor Certification at the Pratama (POP) or Madya (POM) level.
* Prepared to be stationed at our operational site in North Musi Rawas, South Sumatra.
